Shipping & Refunds

Returns

About Cacao will gladly return any of your items (with the exception of any cosmetic item i.e. lotions). Your return must have the original tags attached, as well as the item must be in the same condition as when purchased. Our return policy is 14 days from the original purchase date. We do not return , exchange or give store credit on final sale, seasonal items, or cosmetic products for your skin.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, our team will review your request and inspect the item. We will send you an email to confirm that we’ve received your item and are processing your request. We’ll follow up with another email once the request has been processed to let you know if your return was approved.

If approved, the money will be refunded to your original method of payment within two weeks. All payment companies are different in the amount of time it takes to confirm a payment, so it will likely take a minimum of a few days for the refund to show up in your bank statement.

 

Exchanges

In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or defective item, we’re happy to exchange the item for a new one. Please email hello@aboutcacao.com within 7 days of receiving your product to begin the process.

 

Return Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.  

 

Final Sale Items

If the item is marked “final sale”, it does not qualify for a return and cannot be refunded

How do I track my package?

You can check on the status of your order at any time by reaching out to our customer support desk at hello@aboutcacao.com. We are available 24-7 and you will receive a reply soon. We strive for excellent customer support, but depending on the time of year we may take longer in processing requests.

 

How long does it take for an order to arrive?

You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order has shipped. Once shipped, your order will arrive within 7 to 10 business days for United States and Canada. Other countries can take up to 28 business days, depending on how fast customs clearances takes place and due to having multiple warehouses overseas. Feel free to email us to check on your order status. We're happy to help.

 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, most of our products ship worldwide.
